Common Sense Knowledge of pipe fittings

The pipe fittings is the parts that connecting the pipe into pipeline. According to the connection way ,the pipe fittings can be divided into the socket fittings, threaded pipe fittings, flanges and welded pipe . According to manufacturing, it is divided into four categories, namely, welded tube, socket welding , threaded pipe fittings, and flanges. The pipe fittings include Elbow,cross, reducer(different diameter pipe) and flanges etc.. Elbow is used for pipeline corner. Flange is used to make pipe and pipe interconnected , it is connected to the pipe end. Tee is used to make three differnent way pipe together. Cross is used to make four different way pipe together ; Reducer is used to make two pipes of different diameters connected to different diameter pipe.
